Tony Records presents its newest single ‘Another Lover’ by prolific English producer Andy Compton featuring the mesmerizing vocals of New York -bred Indie R&B/Jazz singer-songwriter Rogiérs. Many producers from our camp were impressed by this song and jumped on board to create their own interpretations of it. The result is an incredible variety of mixes in this package and more to come in a future Tony Records Compilation.

First up we have the soulful live sounding mix by legendary Mark Picchiotti collaborating with Craig Stewart & Dale Nortier. Together they have created an impressive quality remix showcasing smooth jazz sax, live flute, rhythmic guitar, and hype piano stabs reminiscent of the 90’s. Second up is the classy and laid back Andy’s Rurals Mix with its live bass, classic strings, and sensual jazz chords. Next up, is the DJ Vivona Remix with its deep tech percussive sounds ideal for all the underground deep house heads. Last but not least are two spell bounding alternative tech house remixes by Drive Red 5. Also included in the package are two dubs, the DJ Vivona Dub and the Andy’s Rurals String Dub. Tony Records signera le prochain titre d’Andy Compton produit avec le chanteur américain Rogiérs.

Si Andy nous régale avec son Rurals Mix comme sur le String Dub, tous deux profonds et planants, le clou de ce package vient incontestablement avec le remix tonitruant de Mark Picchiotti, Craig Stewart et Dale Nortier.

On retrouve avec bonheur sur cette version percutante les claviers clairs du style Picchiotti des années 90’s appuyés par une flûte traversière et un saxo qui amènent de la consistance au morceau.

DJ Vivona nous offre quant à lui un remix assez underground, plus deep que tech-house, pas déplaisant.

Après une intro assez douce en « trompe l’oreille », le Drive Red 5 Club Mix vous plongera dans un univers de sonorités métalliques, qui me rappelle certaines productions new-wave des années 80’s. L’Hypnodeep Mix est d’ailleurs franchement intéressant.

En conclusion, un excellent package à se procurer très prochainement.
