Soulful Evolution Records are delighted to present the ninth release on the Label.

Second Chance is a wonderful production from Swiss Dj & Producer Marco Barone AKA Dj Le Baron and features the sublime vocal from Patroc.

On remix duties again for Soulful Evolution are Ondagroove with his disco rub that will have you moving your feet from the first beat.
Earl TuTu & John Khan deliver another top quality remix that is packed with soulful goodness as always, and to complete the package in style is a delightful deep remix from Marco himself.

Marco Barone, alias Dj Le Baron, discovered his love for House Music at the age of 16. The radio station Couleur3 and the legendary ‘Pump it up’ and ‘Groovelift’ parties left their indelible mark.

Some of Marco’s milestones in his career as a DJ have been the world-famous Streetparade in Zurich, where he animated the crowd on the Beach Love Mobile, and several performances at the popular and legendary Purple Music Nights by Jamie Lewis. He could repeatedly show his abilities as a DJ on the ‘crazy white island’ Ibiza due to his commitment and love for music.

In 2010, Dj Le Baron, began to produce House music himself and released his first track ‘Perfect Week’ on the Italian music label Spirit Sound Records.
Furthermore, he released tracks, such as ‘Live Your Life’ or ‘Show Me The Way’, on the very well-known music label Deeptown Music.

The vocals in his productions evoke his emotions and stimulate his ideas, and the texts and instruments are well-matched.
His tracks reflect Dj Le Baron’s passion for ‘Soulful-House-Music’ which is clearly noticeable and audible in his music.

Throughout his musical career, Dj Le Baron has stuck to his principles.

Voilà une release qui vous permettra d’apprécier tout le travail (et le talent nécessaire) du « job’ de remixeur.

En effet, les remixes de ce nouveau package du label Soulful Evolution sont pour moi nettement haut dessus de la version originale produite par le suisse Marco Barone alias DJ Le Baron. Ils sont surtout très différents musicalement.

Certes le Vocal Mix de Marco présente un joli pont au piano sur le milieu du morceau, mais je trouve cette version originale un peu poussive et trop répétitive dans les accords choisis.
Je lui préfère nettement le Deep Mix… un vocal plus agressif, façon dub underground.

Le remix du duo Earl TuTu et John Khan commence par un beat lourd et rapide, avant l’arrivée de sonorités plus douces et mélodieuses sur le break. Comme d’hab’ nos deux amis nous gratifient d’une House harmonieuse de grande qualité située entre Deep et Soulful. J’adore !

Je vous ai gardé le meilleur pour la fin avec ce énième super remix de mon pote Ondagroove qui ajoute son incroyable touche funky dans ce Disco Rub qui remuera dans les chaumières, croyez-moi.

Bref, une excellente release qui méritait bien le prix de « Best Of The Month« .
