MoreHouse Records debut offering in 2002 caused a bit of a stir in the global dance community. This was afterall the first release from the first label distributed by the highly respected Soulfuric Records. All eyes were watching. The initial release from Groove Junkies, « Inside My Soul » featuring the amazing vocals of Solomon Henderson, gained support from legends such as Frankie Knuckles, Tony Humphries, Louie Vega & Marques Wyatt to name a few. It put both the label, and for all intent and purposes Groove Junkies on the map. Fast forward 13 years and « IMS » receives the ‘Rework’ treatment for today’s modern dance floor via the deft touch of Swiss producer Terry Lex and GJs venerable front man Evan Landes (who penned and produced the song all those years ago).

Evan’s collaboration late last year with Terry & former longtime Pacha, Ibiza resident Matt Caseli, along with singer Alexander Sky resulted in the Beatport Top 15 hit « We Fade ». Evan and Terry have hit the nail on the head once again & deliver 2 no nonsense mixes that are road tested and primed to do some serious damage on a variety of dance floors.

Inside My Soul fut le tout premier titre sorti en 2002 sur More House Records, le label des Groove Junkies.

Evan Landes nous en propose une version 2015, retravaillée avec Terry Lex.

Le Vocal Rework transforme le titre en hymne pumpin’ et radicalement House par l’utilisation d’une synth basse agressive présente tout le long du morceau. Quelques pads deep donnent également un côté planant et spatial à cette nouvelle version très réussie.

Le Dub reprend les principaux éléments du mix principal, avec quelques fx’s additionnels sur la partie vocale notamment.

Une version 2015 qui déménage.
