Midnight People is a beautiful track brought to you by Bulgaria’s Prelsava Peicheva.

Preslava originally recorded Midnight People in Bulgarian. After hearing the original, Soulful Evolution requested an English vocal which Preslava agreed to perform and what a job she did!

For this package we are joined again by two of the UK’s current hottest producers Earl TuTu & John Khan, who grace us with a soulful masterpiece.

We are also delighted to welcome back to the Label, Italy’s Soulbridge who delivers a lovely remix that will have you spellbound from the start.

Guido P, another of Italys finest soulful house producers, joins the party with a remix that is a joy to behold and is sure to send a shiver down the spine.

Last but not least to finish the remixes on the package we have Bulgaria’s very own DJ Burlak treating us to two excellent remixes both in English & Bulgarian.

Summer 2014 has just been extended on planet soulful thanks to Preslava Peicheva.

Preslava Peicheva is a Bulgarian pop, funk and soul singer. She became popular after her participation in the first season of Music Idol Bulgaria in 2007, reaching the finals.

Her performance of the Israeli classic Horchat Hai Caliptus (The Eucalyptus Forest) in the show impressed notonly the Bulgarian audience, but also received global popularity and was highly appreciated in person by the author of the song Naomi Shemer.
In an interview with the Israeli press Shemer determined the performance of Preslava as the most impressive one by a foreign singer.

Before Music Idol Preslava has participated and won awards from many competitions for young performers and new pop songs.

In the autumn of 2007, she became the vocalist of one of the most successful Bulgarian pop groups – TE.
Together with the group Preslava participated in numerous entertainment and television projects.

In 2008 the group was invited to heat up the concert of the world famous acid-jazz group, The Brand New Heavies (TE were cited for their Bulgarian equivalent).
On the stage of Music Idol 3 Preslava sang a duet with the world famous jazz idol George Duke, they made his hit Brazilian Love Affair.
In 2009 she was invited to be the face of a famous Bulgarian fashion brand, because of her ability to combine bright personal style with genuine achievements in the arts.

J’ai eu un vrai coup de cœur pour ce titre, surtout dans sa version Bulgare.
Résident en Pologne depuis plus de 15 ans, j’ai appris à apprécier ces langues slaves qui au premier abord paraissent parfois un peu rudes pour nos oreilles latines et méditerranéennes.

J’ai également eu l’occasion de me rendre plusieurs fois dans ce petit pays qu’est la Bulgarie, où la bonne musique accompagne souvent la riche gastronomie de cette partie ensoleillée de l’Europe.

C’est apparemment le DJ Bulgare Burlak qui a amené à Scott Witchello du label Soulful Evolution, ce projet de la chanteuse Preslava Peicheva révélée en 2007 par le Music Idol local.

Après avoir été ré-enregistré en langue anglaise, le titre se voit décliné en de nombreux remixes que je vous propose de détailler tout de suite.

Burlak nous délivre une excellente version dans les deux langues, avec une instrumentation pumpin’ et des pads planants. Une préférence pour le DJ Burlak Remix Bulgarian Version:star::star: car je préfère toujours l’original aux copies

Les magiciens Earl Tu Tu et John Khan réalisent quant à eux une version Souful riche et mélodieuse, comme à leur habitude.

Le Guido P HSR Remix:star: est superbement réussi avec une basse deep profonde couplée à des claviers jazzy et des strings langoureuses.

Nous conclurons avec le Soulbridge Remix de notre ami Gigi Frassanito, qui soigne particulièrement sur sa version la partie rhodes.
