JD73 feat. Fraser : Believe In Love

Record-Label Info

‘Believe In Love’ is the highly anticipated single taken from JD73’s brand new album ‘Make Your Move’, both forthcoming on Splash Music Productions. Laced with delicious, sun-kissed Jazzy grooves, complete with horns, Moog bass and guitars, ‘Believe In Love’ carries the unmistakable classy sound of JD73. Featuring silky smooth vocals, Fraser beautifully delivers the powerful message.. « that we should all believe in love and its all-conquering power to heal – it can bring peace, unity and better times for us all on planet earth! » Also on the package UK Soul/Jazz/Funk gods Incognito and Soulpersona deliver a stunning remix each and there’s also a tasty House re-twist from JD73 to tear up the dance floors… The perfect soundtrack to lazy sunny days and hot Summer nights!

« Believe In Love’ was one of those songs that really wrote itself – it came straight from the heart and had a comforting familiarity about it that had me checking to see if another artist had already written it! » – JD73 Dan Goldman aka JD73 (‘Jazz Doctor 73’) is a classically trained, producer/keyboardist/remixer from Leeds, UK. He’s played with many well-known acts including Morcheeba, Leon Ware, TY, The Haggis Horns and with members of Jamiroquai. He’s also remixed Nightmares On Wax, Incognito, Richard Earnshaw, Cool Million, The New Mastersounds and Bill Laurance (Snarky Puppy) and co-written songs with Morcheeba, Nightmares On Wax and Bluey (Incognito). JD73’s debut single ‘Happy People’ was released on Nightmares On Wax’s Wax-On label in 2006, his debut album ‘Zeros and Ones’ on Ropeadope in 2008 and his 2nd album, ‘Pure Gold’, dropped on Joey Negro’s Z Records in 2010, garnering world-wide support from key tastemakers
including Ashley Beedle, Dimitri From Paris, Groove Armada, Shur-I Kan, Richard Earnshaw and many others.

Sheflield’s Fraser Jowle is a talented vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Currently working on his debut solo material, Fraser’s world-class vocal talents were introduced to the world on JD73’s ‘Pure Gold’ album, where he featured on ‘Fantasy’ and ‘Step By Step’. Fraser has since established himself as a highly sought-after vocalist, working with Afro Elements and featuring on their ‘Out Of The Centre’ album (Splash Music Productions). Fraser has also sung live with the JD73 band and with Pete Ray Biggin’s ‘PB Underground’ at London’s famous Jazz Cafe.

Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick is a founder of several groundbreaking British Jazz-Funk and Soul bands, including Light Of The World, Freeez, The Warriors, Inner Shade, Citrus Sun and ParaDiso, as well as his massive band, Incognito, now in its 35th year. Manutek’s Review
